Ben Funnies

Jake and I are talking while Ben is in the tub. We hear him close and then open the shower door and then hear him say, "I'll have a cheeseburger, some fries, and a coke." Then, he shuts the door again. So then Jake goes into the bathroom and orders from the tub-drive-thru. It soon turns into this giggling match of ordering yucky food...I'll take a chocolate cricket with some hippopotamus ribs and some french squirrells...boys!

Last night, we went to Rogers to run some errands and eat dinner. On the way, Ben asked when we would see "Roger." We tried to tell him Rogers was a city, not a person. Then, it turned into "when will we see Mr. Rogers?" Again, we tried to explain, but Ben wasn't buying it. As we pulled into the Staples parking lot, Ben asked one more time, "will Mr. Rogers be inside Staples?" We get through that, we're at dinner, and Ben asks again if he can see Roger. Jake and I are both laughing the exhausted, are you serious, laugh as we try to explain AGAIN when Ben gives up and says, "well, then let's go see Fayetteville!"

Charlie is one of Ben's classmates at preschool, and Charlie's grandmother will pick him up every once in a while. One day that she was there getting Charlie, Ben looked at me and said. "I want my grandmother to pick me up at preschool and take me home." I replied, "you mean you want Grandma Deb or Grandma Jo to come pick you up sometime?" He said, "no, my grandmother."

Ben's class starts with Dalton in the brown striped shirt, then Quinten, Easton, Jenna, Ben and Charlie. The first three are triplets...they were hilarious during the singing!

As you can see, Dalton and Easton are starting to push each other. Quinten already has been moved to a new spot between Jenna and Ben because Dalton was pushing him.

Grandma Deb sent Ben an Easter card. After mangling the envelope, the card came out unscathed. Ben opened it up hoping to find a toy, but found some money...toys are better :-) I didn't get a chance to read the card with all the toy talk commotion. Later, Jake asked me what the card said I replied that I really didn't get to read it. Ben also replied and said, "I read it." Jake said, "What did the card say?" Ben replied, "It said get a toy." We had a good laugh over that one. By the way...the card did not say "get a toy." So...Jake and Ben went to Wally World and Ben picked out a green motorcycle and a ball and bat.
