CAKE

I made little red velvet cakes and I think Jake was more excited than Ben :-)

Ummm...sorry about my singing. At least my motive was pure :-) I wish we could hear Ben singing more....he was singing the song to himself as we were singing.

Presents from Mema

This afternoon Ben opened a present from Mema. It's an uber ambulance with a guy, it makes sounds, the doors open, it has windsheild wipers that move. JACKPOT

Birthday fun---Ben is THREE

Those fresh from sleep rosy cheeks are ready for birthday presents!

The first thing Ben said was, "Where's the guy?" We knew right then that the present was just okay. The motorcyle was guyless. Live and learn.

Birthday DVD

Ben can watch the Disney Little Einstien's all day. So, to add to his TV addiction, we bought him another DVD! He's been asking to watch it each second of this day :-)

It was after 7am and Ben was still sleeping so I had to start the wake up process. Once I told him there were presents he hopped out of bed and started opening.

Birthday smiles

Presents are great.

Ben is smiling just like Grandpa Curt taught him.

Happy Birthday Ben!

Thanks to Grandma Deb for new clothes! Ben is ready for winter now that his shirts aren't too small and his pants aren't high-waters :-)

The finished product....

Ben playing with his nativity. He likes to fly the angel around like an airplane.
Our advent wreath

The train table was set for a pizza dinner!

The storm before the calm.

Our house looked like a giant picked up our home like a snow globe and shook it! We had Christmas stuff EVERYWHERE!

Christmas Time is Here

We put up a tree in Ben's room and he had so much fun decorating with Jake.

Birthday Fun with Gale and Becky

Friday night after Thanksgiving we had dinner with Gale and Becky. They gave Ben a Handy Manny saw/drill and pliers. Ben LOVES them! Here he's making faces back to my dad, who is trying to make Ben smile.

mmm...CAKE

Ben is tryring to saw his birthday card.

Turkey Trot 2008

While mom, Mema, and Gran feverishly cooked the BEST Thanksgiving meal in the world, the rest of us participated in the Turkey Trot in downtown Springfield. Andie and Jake ran while dad, Ben, and I walked. It was so cold as we waited to start, but it ended up being a pretty day.

Happy Anniversary

Mom and dad took the long way to the Buffalo River area to celebrate their 35 years of marriage. They stopped by Silaom for lunch and some hugs from Ben. Dad threw a couple of pitches and mom got some kisses from Ben in the tree.
