Christmas 2008

The Stratman family had Christmas in Springfield this year on Imperial Circle! We ate at old haunts, played oustide, sang songs, and talked and talked.

A bit fuzzy, but I like Ruthie and Ben's big, sleepy eyes.
We love oatmeal!

To the Gable party in St. Louis....time to break the bank.

Uncle Bob, Aunt Cindy, and Aunt Kris writing down everyone's estimates.

Grandpa John "breaking the bank."

Deb and Ben deciding what estimate to put on the paper.

This year the amount was just over $1,000!
Grandpa Gary and Ben spinning tales.

Deb and Ben playing play doh....the best laughs ever....scroll down to see the video.

Back to Deb and Gary's house...now Ben and Nate are reading Where the Wild Things Are.
Christmas Card time.

Story time with Grandpa Rev.

Stomp Rocket time...Nate got Ben a stomp rocket and we had a BLAST! Ben would fall down every time the rocket went in the air.

Ruthie needed a bit more weight to make the rocket fly :-)
Go Ben!
Whoa! Uncle Nate made it go sooo high.

Miss Ruthie watching Grandma Deb open gifts.

Ben and Ruthie reading the cow book.

Ruthie and Natey
Time to open gifts.

Ruthie says, "It's a picture of Ruthie!"

It looks like Ben is opening Auntie Kim's gift for her...apparently she needed help.
